We have 2 little girls ages 5 and 7. For the short time that they were able to get to know there Grandfather they will carry great memories of him. Unfortunately, because their time with him was so short, given their ages, they won't carry the full memories that we all hope we get to have of our Grandparents.
As you all know, Wade was such a unique Man. The life that he lead was full of passion, excitement and surprise. My hopes for my children are that they live a life with these same qualities and are able to devote their time with the things that they love, enjoy and have passion for as Wade did.
I am hoping that all of you can help me show my children a little of t here Heritage through stories and memories that you share of Wade. I am asking that you share special times with Wade whether it has to do with personal times you have shared or exciting time in the woods hunting or stories that he spoke of from his youth. Whatever it may be that comes to mind, I feel like this can better explain to his Grandchildren what an awesome Man he was and all that he did to make this world a better place. I would like to compile all of these wonderful stories into a book that I can present to Josh and the girls that will be kept in the family for generations to come. In doing this, I feel that a part of Wade will always live on!

I have known Wade for over 30 years. He was a thoughtful and kind father to my nephew, Josh. His only child and he will be missed by all of the Reuvers Family. Theresa, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I am especially thankful for the last supper that we had together. Teresa made a pot of Wade’s mom’s Brunswick stew and we fixed some cornbread and iced tea. Steve and Kathy had come over and stayed to eat with us and we all sat around and ate and talked and had a good ole time. Little did we know that it would be our last.
Not a day will go by that I wont think of Wade. He is forever embroidered into our lives. To Teresa, Wade could not have asked for a better wife and partner, and Russ could not have asked for a better friend. To Josh, you are in our thoughts and prayers, I hope you will remember what Russ said.
